About Fantasy Football Trivia

Where the questions come from

Most of the bank is generated directly from real season statistics covering 1990 through 2025, which is why it can ask who led the league in receiving yards in a specific year and be right about it. Every generated question asks about an exact number the underlying data ranks — never about who was "best", which is an opinion no dataset can settle.

The rest is hand-written: scoring rules, roster construction, waiver mechanics and draft knowledge. Those are the questions a stat sheet cannot produce, and they are the reason the bank is not just a lookup quiz.

Three ways to play

Classic is ten questions at the difficulty you choose, fifteen seconds each. Streak keeps going until you miss, and gets harder as it goes — the questions are ordered easy to hard, so a long run means something. The Daily Challenge is the same ten questions for everybody, from midnight to midnight Eastern, which makes it worth comparing.

One hint per run will strike out two wrong answers. It costs a point, because a free hint is one every player would take every time.

What the result screen is for

The breakdown at the end is per category, not just a total, because "seven out of ten" does not tell you anything you can act on. Missing three questions on scoring rules is a different problem from missing three on which player led the league in 2003, and only one of them is fixable by reading.

Difficulty is assigned from the data rather than by feel: how long ago the season was, how close the race for the league lead was, and how often that player shows up at the top of any category. A question about a forgotten player is not hard, it is unanswerable, and the two are easy to confuse.
