How to Find Your ESPN Tokens

A 40-second walkthrough video to grab your SWID and ESPN_S2 cookies.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1Open espn.com in Chrome, Firefox, or Safari on your desktop computer
  2. 2Make sure you're logged into your ESPN account
  3. 3Press F12 (Windows) or Cmd + Option + I (Mac) to open Developer Tools
  4. 4Click the Application tab (Chrome) or Storage tab (Firefox/Safari). In Chrome, Application is usually the 7th tab — if you don't see it, click the >> arrows to expand hidden tabs.
  5. 5Expand Cookies in the left sidebar, then click espn.com
  6. 6Find and copy the values for SWID and espn_s2

Important: The SWID value includes curly brackets like {XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX}. Make sure to copy the entire value including the brackets!
